Which colour lipstick can I wear???

Hiya peeps
with so many shades of lipstick out there it can be very confusing as to what colours look best on you, so here are some tips to ensure you don't buy another lipstick that you get home to discover it looks all wrong.

Dark haired girls (winters) clear and blue based reds, clear light and bright pinks and fuschias, plums and deep cool magentas.

Fair girls (summer) clear pinks, dusty pinks, burgundys, deep cool mahogany and brown reds.

Red hair girls ( autumns) orange or yelllow based reds, warm browns, coppers and pale peaches.

Blonde, golden brown hair girls (springs) yellow based reds, anything peachy, watermelon tones. (NOT PINKS)

SCARVES IN YOUR SEASON!

Hiya lovely! people well I've been a little lazy on my blog of late. Probably due to our recent move and a baby girl with the flu. So here I am a little sleep deprived but it's the perfect rainy day to blog and I'm excited to be taking on some more colour consultations and make-up jobs this month.

What isn't there to love about a scarf. Scarves can be an afforadable way to add colour, texture and interest to any outfit. If you have a few scarves in your colour palette (spring, summer, autumn or winter) you can use them to brighten any ensemble.

SPRINGS- Think watermelon or cherry red, aqua, caramel, warm purple or duck egg blue.

SUMMERS- Think muted pinks, lilacs, light blues, maroons, greys & dark browns.

AUTUMNS- Think oranges, mustards, olives/ forest greens and warm browns.

WINTER- Think any primary colour- red, blue, orange etc or black or white and dark grey.

(Thanks Pinterest for the images you are my favourite)

Inspiration boards

So we are moving next weekend and i've been frantically trying to get organized and de-clutter before the day. Whenever we move I really like to add something new that I love to look at. I've decided this time I'm going to do a cheap and easy option of re-creating my inspiration board.
I love inspiration boards so much, you can add anything beautiful you like, pictures, photos, fabric, ribbon etc etc. This is quite a random blog but I found some beautiful inspiration boards and though I would share them with you.
It's quite interesting that alot of the time when I do peoples colours the colour palette that they are fits in with the colours they already naturally love. So I would be interested to know does your inspiration board have colours from your season on it??
Have a fab weekend and enjoy these pics............
PS I will post a pic of my new board when I finish
xxx Em
